In 2020, our team pitched Live Cursors as a larger, strategic vision to rethink the design patterns for how we get work done today. Above is our initial concept, centered entirely on human interaction and bringing joyful moments into Google Workspace products.

The Google Workspace team later developed and launched their own version of Live Pointers in 2023. We were brought back in pre-launch to partner with them, specifically to inject the joyful and human-centered interaction moments that were key to our original vision.
