Gemini Live introduced a more natural way to chat with Gemini. Our team within Creative Lab partnered closely with the core Gemini team. While the design effort was extensive, my specific focus was to shape the branded UX and interaction pattern. This included visualizing Gemini's presence and defining the core interaction model for "going live”. We drew principles from real-world conversations (like active listening, body language, and gestures) to create an interface that truly felt intuitive and alive.
